StockGro’s profit jumps over three-fold to Rs 112.96 crore in FY26 as IPO plans take shape

StockGro, the stock market research and advisory platform run by Assetgro Fintech, has more than tripled its profit after tax in FY26. The company’s financial statements filed with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs show a profit of Rs 112.96 crore for the year.

The FY26 figure includes a deferred tax credit of around Rs 15.94 crore. A year earlier, in FY25, the Bengaluru-based company had reported a profit after tax of Rs 34.64 crore.

Revenue nearly doubles

Revenue from operations rose to Rs 226.14 crore in FY26, almost double the Rs 113.33 crore it earned in the previous financial year.

Costs grew far more slowly than income. Total expenses went up 47.2 per cent to Rs 131.97 crore, from Rs 89.64 crore in FY25.

Almost all of the operating revenue came from one source. Subscription fees brought in about Rs 225.94 crore, which shows how heavily the company relies on its subscription-led model.

Cash generation improves

Net cash generated from operating activities climbed to Rs 178.43 crore in FY26. In the previous year, the figure was Rs 73.64 crore.

IPO preparations under way

The company is getting ready for a stock market listing. In September, Assetgro Fintech filed preliminary papers with the market regulator Sebi to raise money through an initial public offering, using the confidential route.

People familiar with the matter have put the size of the issue at Rs 2,000-2,500 crore.

The confidential pre-filing route lets a company keep its draft offer documents away from the public until the regulatory review has moved to a more advanced stage.

What the platform offers

StockGro provides investment research and tools for building strategies. It also gives users access to more than 150 Sebi-registered research analysts. Its artificial intelligence-powered features include one called Stoxo. The platform says it has more than 35 million users.

Backdrop of growing retail participation

The company’s results come at a time when India’s retail investing base keeps widening. The number of unique investors registered with the National Stock Exchange stood at 13.66 crore as of September 2026.
